Networking Hits the Walking Trail

Sharing your start up business, newly published book or venture idea has found a home through Business Support Alliance’s (BSA) “Walk & Talk” - exercise while you network event. BSA members encourage walkers to bring their business cards to exchange with other participants, at Byrd Park’s walking trail. Networking events are a growing trend in Richmond, as residents become increasingly involved in entrepreneurship. “More business partnerships are formed outside a boardroom than most people think,” remarks Joan Harris who is founder of the nonprofit I Am Reentry Services of Hampton Roads. When asked if she would attend the Walk & Talk events she replied, “Definitely!” Are you considering working with others to turn your passion into a career? Then “Walk & Talk” may be for you. The next outdoor meet up is Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 9 a.m., Byrd Park by the fountain on S. Boulevard. For this and other Walk & Talk dates, contact Helen Richardson at 804.447.4712,
