Show off your bike, read to kids or both – you choose the activity. Join local bikers, S/C, Community Clovia and Nutzy with The Flying Squirrels. No registration. ROCin’ Bike & Car Show Richmond’s urban church ministry ROC, on Midlothian Tpke., provided city residents with custom cars and motorcycles Sunday, June 3rd. A diverse group of both car and motorcycle enthusiasts motored in and out of the church’s packed parking lot, city police assisted with the event’s heavy traffic. ROC’s spirited edgy mix of Rock music, bikers and custom cars was a welcoming sight to kids of all ages. This annual Bike & Car show is free to the public.
Tuskegee Airmen MC of Richmond, VA Summer officially starts in 2 ½ weeks but charity rides roll into gear now! Tuskegee Airmen MC hosted their annual ride from The Arthur Ashe Center for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Richmond Saturday, June 2nd. Riders met with cheers and thumbs up from Richmonders throughout the 45 minute route. Support for the ride raised over $5,000 and “benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Richmond Summer Learning Loss Program.”
