I've loved dude ranches since my first experience at a working cattle ranch in Wyoming in the 90s. Wait, no, I loved them before I even tried them - the experience just reinforced my passion! I continued to love them after the arrogant teenage wrangler with an attitude put me, a neophyte rider, on the back of her spirited steed. 

I've recently learned of a web site that can help me find the perfect guest ranch for me - in British Columbia.

I can ride through the wonders of the BC beauty, even helping out (such as it is!) on one of the working ranches and return to a guest ranch hospitality.

 

I haven't had the chance to experience one of the ranches first hand yet, but the selection look wide, wonderful, and wild!
